Read another few chapters out of Sweep. I asked them who they liked best in the book, and they all said, "No one. They're all grumpy and kind of mean. Except the Sweep." So we talked about why they're all like that and how important it is for everyone, but especially children, to feel loved and protected.

More Khan for math. Aaron is still blasting through all his basic division. He needed zero help from me. Catherine cried over long division again. I found a method called the box method that has really helped both of us. She understands the concepts, just has a hard time keeping all the little pieces of the equation together. Maybe this will help.

Seth has recently gotten into modding Minecraft and wrote a  (rather pathetic) entry in his learning journal about it. Catherine has yet to complete hers for this week. Sigh. Aaron wrote about the animals on the farm and what they liked to eat.

Seth has been reading and loving Ender's Game. Catherine has been reading her BOM, and Aaron has been reading The Bears on Hemlock Mountain. I need to find him better options.

They all spent a lot of time outside in the sunshine, playing with slime balls on the trampoline, or swinging, or decorating the playset with moss.
