First things first: Catherine and Aaron both finished their Khan this morning! In a shockingly small amount of time, as well! I'm so proud of both of them for working so hard.
The weather was nice so we met some friends at the park to play. We listened to a WOW in the World while we were driving about wearing masks. The hamster experiment was the highlight for the kids.
The weekend was filled with lots and lots of perler beads and Mushroom Kingdom (a game they all play with their perler bead creations). Seth learned how to iron the beads which was the single happiest moment of my life. Catherine also used her new colored pencils from her birthday to draw a picture of fruit on a table. She used stencils, but did an amazingly good job with shading! She also busted out her origami book again, which was surprising.
Jon & Seth worked on a Google Sheets program involving the Mushroom Kingdom game. I love that they can do that together. We also watched WandaVision with the older kids. Seth was intrigued with the decade-shifting and kept asking "Is this really like the 90s?"
Also got to enjoy a Chinese New Year themed birthday party, where the kids got little red envelopes full of money and little paper fans.
