Kind of a wash of a day. Between the holiday for Timmy & Jon and me having doctors' appointments, not much school happened.
The kids played Minecraft with Timmy for most of the morning. It was his first time, so they had to teach him some of the basics. They had a world they were building all together.
They also each wrote a note to a veteran they knew, thanking them for their service. Seth wrote to Bro. Lepito, Catherine wrote to Bro. Anderson, Aaron wrote to Grandpa Brady, and Elise wanted to write to Kaia (not a veteran, but we adore her!).
Jon also took them for their KYA gymnastics day. There was definitely some Starcraft in the afternoon and some Avatar watching with Uncle Timmy.
I also bought a geography game and have been using the cards to do some trivia at breakfast. Lots of fun discussions about which countries won't let women vote, why Norway isn't a city in France, etc.
