Read some more Last of the Mohicans. It’s definitely violent. Maybe not a good choice for littles…

For math everyone learned about Exploding Dots (binary). We played with cubes and sidewalk chalk outside while practicing having the dots ‘explode’ every time there were two in a box. They found patterns in the numbers, talked about powers of 2, and each grabbed a random amount of cubes and turned them into binary numbers. Seth was really excited when I explained that binary is what computers use.

Aaron day. He needed a bit more work on his piano song. His rhythm is exceptional but he's a perfectionist and constantly stops to fix notes or fingering. He's blasting through AAS. Not even sure he really needs it, but he enjoys it. Maybe I'll ask if he wants to stop. He was also bothered that there was no note worth 5, so he designed his own. Catherine also asked for a version of Greensleeves she could learn since Jon told her he likes it.

At lunch we finished Extra History about Admiral Yi. That guy was insane.

He wrote about silver in his journal. Catherine wrote about Admiral Yi. She was a bit confused about who was Japanese and who was Korean, but we figured it out. Seth had writing class with Anna. Didn't get much info from him.

They all worked on getting chores done early so we could go camping on Friday.
