Read Story of Science together about irrational numbers and Descartes and atoms. Really like this book. 

For math Catherine did more crypto and Aaron asked to do the old Everyday Math workbook, so I pulled it out for him. He loves the math, hates the writing, so I wrote part for him. 

Seth day. He chose Khan for math and blasted though the section on fractions. We did some more for his theorems and definitions book as well. Worked more on conjugations and -er verbs in Spanish. He showed me his solider game on Roblox and worked out some kinks. Next: piano lesson. I'm thinking of letting him quit. It's painful for all of us. Lunch was Extra History about Admiral Yi, then he headed to Knoxes for writing class with Anna. They worked on descriptive writing and developing strong female characters. 

We did our poetry and woods time at Knoxes. I read The Cremation of Sam Magee, which was fun. Catherine learned watercolor texturing techniques with Anna. Then they all had a great time in the woods despite us not letting them build a fire. 

In the evening Jon & I played Cover Your Kingdom with Seth & Catherine. Loved it!
