 9-17-20

Another couple chapters of Girls Who Looked Under Rocks. Aaron asks so many vocabulary questions as we read. I'm glad we're in a situation where I can answer them for him.

Aaron day. For math we played 100 and Out. Catherine played as well. They had a great time and didn't seem to mind the addition (and subtraction for the last round). I had both of them add to their theorems and definitions. Catherine isn't quite ready to do things like 7x53, but Aaron had no issue. He even did something like 4 x 421. But 18x23 was out of his range.

His learning journal was about fractals. We did AAS and he was rock solid. Piano lessons aren't his strong suit, but his counting is super. For his game he asked me math questions and started throwing in fractions. Guess I need to pull out some fraction games!

Catherine's learning journal was about insects. I need to check her work. Punctuation and spelling usually need some work.

Seth had another class with Anna. He has homework to watch a movie with a hero.

Kids all finished early, which was lovely.

Elise was able to identify some numbers while we played. She was really excited. She also got to spend the afternoon playing with Kelsey. She needs a twin sister.
