Read some more Count of Monte Cristo. They had a great time telling Jon why the illustrations of Edmond as a buff guy made no sense since he was supposed to be starving, wasting away in prison. Even Father Faria was a buff guy.
Seth did more Khan for math. He's almost to his 80%, which he is thrilled about. Catherine finished her multiplication coloring page, plus played a few rounds of Krypto with me and Aaron. Aaron has really improved. It still takes him a few minutes to start, but there are no tears and he always manages to come up with an answer.
Seth is still working on Order of the Phoenix. Catherine has been reading Lightning Thief at nights. Aaron read part of George the Drummer Boy. I'm loving that there's more reading happening, even if I had to force it.
Still haven't seen it yet, but Seth is writing his persuasive piece for Catherine. Catherine posted again to her Instagram, and Aaron added some sentences to his story (painfully).
Aaron also had his piano lesson. He blasted through his pieces, which makes me think that he hasn't actually been practicing much for the past couple of months. We're working on honesty. He also did a long round of Roblox Studio in the afternoon. All the kids played Minecraft together again in the afternoon.
At lunch we watched a documentary on Netflix about earth. Our Planet, maybe? The kids were fascinated. Also a Mark Rober on elephant toothpaste in a swimming pool.
Seth and Catherine both had church activities last night. Catherine painted a birdhouse and Seth ran his Minecraft game. Both seemed to really enjoy it.
