For math, Seth did Puzzledom, Catherine did Khan, Aaron did Prodigy. Elise and I played a number matching game. She can identify 1-3 by sight, everything else she has to count to. But her counting is awesome! She counts all the time.
It was Elise day, so we played math game, then Frozen matching. She also had another piano lesson, which she was SO excited about. She spent the rest of the day playing the piano for us. She also helped me make bread and get cream cheese chicken in the crockpot. We also read some Halloween and fall books.
Aaron watched a YouTube video on how to make a sword and Catherine watched with him. Then they (and Elise) did some experiments with MagnaTiles and light. First they were reflecting them off the floor and onto the ceiling, then using the sunlight, then they build a rainbow structure in the basement and used 5-6 flashlights to light it. They discovered that using all the flashlights made their shadows different colors. Then they brought Google down and had a dance party with their rainbow lights.
Seth worked on his novel, plus added more to his Roblox event. He also had a writing class with Anna but didn't give me many details on what happened. We all showed up for poetry time. Gabe read part of MLK's "I Have a Dream Speech", which was perfect for election day.
Catherine had her art class with Anna, where they worked on shading with watercolors. We only got to play for bit because everyone had errands to do that afternoon (including voting). There were lots of questions about voting, and elections, and the Electoral College, and republics.
For FHE we played a bunch of games like Stop & Go and Spyfall (Catherine's favorite).
