For reading we read SOS Ch. 15-16 about Hero and Euclid. The kids remembered Euclid’s postulates from the Extra History series.
For math Catherine did a logic puzzle that was way too easy for her. She’s been working on difficult ones for so long that ones ‘on her level’ are too easy. But she felt good about how quickly she figured it out!
Seth did some Puzzledom and Aaron played with the fraction segments. He’s really good at figuring out equivalent fractions, even when it’s something like ⅙ +1/12 = ¼. He even told me that 2.5/5 would be the same as ½.
Seth had another writing class with Anna. He’s working on outlining his story, which he hates but is really good for him.
Aaron completed his project on gold, silver & copper. He dictated to me the things he’d learned, I typed them up, and then he read them aloud while I videoed. I posted it on social media since we wouldn’t be able to share it with friends like I’d planned.
Catherine did almost all of her data analysis for her chocolate survey. Just one more data set to look at, then she’s done! Jon is going to help her make some graphs to go along with it.
Aaron spent the afternoon making a card game. He didn’t share any details with me, but I saw scores for damage and health points on the cards.
