Fun Friday! This week we had a field trip with our old co-op to Fawn View Farm. We listened to Stella by Starlight as we drove. 

We learned about soy beans, straw vs. hay, cotton seeds, and how they milk the cows. The kids got to give bottles to baby calves and feed cotton seeds to some older ones. They also got to lead one of the calves around the grass and watch all the big cows in the pasture. At the end we all got to try some ice cream made at the dairy, which was delicious. More Stella while we drove home. 

Seth opted to stay home since no one his age would be there. He worked more on his Roblox games and then spent all afternoon and evening with Jack. I’ve been really impressed with how he looks for solutions when he has issues with his games. He knows how to seek out resources that will help him. 

Catherine spent the weekend working on some sewing projects for her Beary. Aaron did a great job with his writing during Conference. Catherine did a ton of writing, too. The things they’ll do for candy…
