Read some more Marie Antoinette. They were quite disgusted with the idea of people peeing in halls of Versailles. Also with how the royalty were on display even while dressing.

For math Seth did Puzzledom, Aaron played Skyjo with Elise and Catherine, and Catherine did more Khan. She's hitting things like 6 digit subtraction, but she's very persistent. She's also very careful with her answers and will do and estimated guess to make sure she's in the right range. Awesome skills.

We listened to Echo again while driving to KYA. Had a good discussion on why it's so important to TALK when you have issues instead of making assumptions about motives.

Seth & I also talked about future service opportunities and jobs. We think he'd do great at a nursing home since he loves to talk to people. I also mentioned to him the idea of a future job at KYA and how he'd need to work on his diligence and leadership to qualify. He seemed intrigued by the idea.

We had our final book club about Long Walk to Water. Some good discussion about adoptions, culture shock, and why Salva was able to recover from his trauma. They each had to come up with a sentence describing the book's theme to share, as well as watch some videos featuring Salva. So glad we got to read this book!

That evening Catherine helped me make pies for Thanksgiving. Hooray!

We had a lovely holiday and enjoyed fun times with Uncle Timmy. We played several games like Catch Phrase, Salem, and Rat a Tat Cat. Also pulled out the Christmas stuff and had fun reading all the books together.
