Tuesday 11-17-2020

Read SOS Ch.22-24, discussed how science took a huge step back during the Middle Ages thanks to religion. We learned about how the Arabs helped preserve the knowledge of the Greeks. Starting to see glimmers of scientific thought emerging from Europe again. 

Seth did Polyup for math again. Aaron did Math Bingo and Catherine did Khan with me. She's doing multiple digit multiplication now, which is awesome. 

She did her piano lesson and is still just blasting through her Christmas music. She spends a lot of time every day playing music and teaching herself new songs. 

She's working on whittling something for her presentation. Not sure what it's going to be (besides a sharp stick).  Aaron isn't doing much with his, either. Sigh. Seth is supposed to be working on his novel, but class has been cancelled for two weeks. I should check up on that. 

They were all playing some form of Minecraft together in the basement in the afternoon (not on screens) and were having a blast. Also watched more Science of Stupid.
