Read a chapter out of SOS about Aristotle. Talked about how much he helped but also how he was wrong. Seth asked why so many geniuses didn't seem to have wives. Maybe they're too focused on work, maybe they're weird, maybe they did but we don't know.
Seth day. He did his Khan all by himself. We filled in another page of theorems and definitions. Watched a couple videos on why flipping fractions to divide works. Did some Spanish conjugations. He is improving but doesn't enjoy it.
He showed me the code for his Roblox game with soldiers and zombies. I'm so impressed with how far he's come with his scripting skills. He also read a chapter out of World of Physics. He was super impressed with Archimedes pulling up the barge by himself using nothing but pulleys.
Catherine did some logic games for math. Aaron did Math Facts Pro. Aaron watched a video on copper and Catherine and I typed up a summary of her chocolate survey.
Seth had writing class with Anna. He said he's working on adding more depth to his story, but is finding it a little challenging. Anna says he gets a little distracted in class when he's using his computer. For art class with Anna, Catherine had to use all the techniques that Anna had taught her. She painted a watercolor picture of mountains and a stream.
We had our poetry time and then the kids enjoyed several hours playing in the woods together. Seth and I also went on a date to Red Robin that evening. He seems pretty content with what we've been doing in school and so far his plan for high school is to keep homeschooling.
