Catherine was dying to have her own "school", so I started her on a very, very simple letter-of-the-week lesson plan. For our first activity we made some fingerprint ants crawling along the letter A:

That was about all I expected her to do, but she had other ideas. With no prompting at all, she flipped her paper over and wrote herself an 'A':

Apparently teaching Catherine to write is going to be MUCH easier than teaching Seth...
